FAQ - Pottery Painting

Is the paint safe?

Yes, the paints are water-based, washable and non-toxic

When do I collect my pottery?

Your items are normally ready four working days after your visit, please understand this may extend to one week in our very busy periods

Why can I not take my pottery home the same day?

We use a specialised underglaze, which needs to be glazed and fired. This process takes a minimum of four days, we do offer acrylics in our studio, these can be dried and varnished in the same day. If you want the wow factor, then waiting for them to be fired is definitely worthwhile

Do you have to be a an artist or very good painter?

No, anyone of any age and ability can pottery paint, it is the most relaxing, therapuetic way to unwind and have a great time.
We offer a range of sponges, stamps and stencils to help you create your design, our trained staff are always on hand for help and guidance.

I cannot do the writing, will you help?

Of course we will, if you require assistance, we can do it for you or teach you the best way to achieve great results!
